
From March 20 to 22, 2026, the 2026 Annual Conference of the Gynecologic Minimally Invasive Surgery Branch of Shandong Medical Doctor Association was grandly held in Jinan, the "City of Springs." The conference focused on cutting-edge fields including general gynecology, gynecologic oncology, and gynecologic endocrinology, bringing together top experts and scholars from across China. As a leading enterprise in domestic single-port endoscopic surgical robots, Shurui® Robot made a significant appearance at the conference, showcasing its core technologies and clinical achievements. Through diverse formats such as milestone announcements, expert lectures, equipment demonstrations, and specialized training sessions, Shurui® deeply integrated into the event, comprehensively presenting the innovative power and application value of domestically produced single-port robots in the field of gynecologic minimally invasive surgery, and exploring new paths for precision diagnosis and treatment alongside gynecologic colleagues from across Shandong Province.
At the conference, the Gynecology Department of Shandong Provincial Hospital officially announced the milestone of 100 robotic gynecologic surgeries performed using Shurui® Robot, marking that the clinical application of Shurui® single-port robot in Shandong's gynecologic field has entered a new phase of large-scale, routine implementation. These 100 single-port robotic surgeries cover a full range of procedures including gynecologic oncology, general gynecology, and reproductive surgery. With clinical outcomes featuring less trauma and faster recovery, they bring high-quality minimally invasive medical options to female patients and set a benchmark for the popularization of single-port robotic surgery in the region.
Professor Sun Dawei, a nationally renowned authority in the field of gynecologic minimally invasive surgery, delivered a special lecture at the conference. He shared in-depth insights on the clinical application standards, technical key points, and case experiences of single-port robotic surgery in gynecology, providing cutting-edge theoretical guidance and practical ideas for gynecologic surgeons across Shandong Province, and helping to upgrade the concept of minimally invasive technology.
During the conference, Shurui® single-port endoscopic surgical robot was demonstrated live, fully presenting its core advantages including flexible snake-arm operation, high-load stable performance, and ultra-minimally invasive design. Attending experts and clinicians observed the system's control up close, gained an in-depth understanding of Shurui® robot's clinical application scenarios, and highly recognized the precision, safety, and practicality of this domestically developed original technology.
From the afternoon of March 21 to the morning of March 22, the Shurui® Robot Special Training Course for Gynecologic Single-Port Surgery was successfully held. Participants from across Shandong Province engaged in hands-on dry lab exercises. Under expert guidance, they systematically learned robot operation procedures, instrument usage techniques, and key points of surgical coordination, achieving a seamless transition from theory to practice. At noon on March 22, the training course issued certificates to qualified participants, cultivating minimally invasive technical experts through a standardized training system and promoting the standardized adoption of single-port robotic surgery in Shandong Province.
As the first single-port endoscopic surgical robot approved for gynecologic indications in China, Shurui® has completed nearly 1,000 gynecologic surgeries in dozens of tertiary hospitals nationwide since its market launch, forming a comprehensive application system covering benign and malignant diseases as well as complex and difficult procedures.
Shurui® Robot, with its original snake-arm technology, breaks through the traditional single-port "chopstick effect." Its instruments can flexibly rotate 540°, enabling precise completion of suturing, dissection, lymph node dissection, and other difficult maneuvers within the narrow pelvic space. The transumbilical single-port incision is only 2.5 cm, hidden and scarless, resulting in mild postoperative pain and fast recovery while balancing treatment efficacy with aesthetic needs. Master-slave collaborative control and intelligent tremor filtering ensure stable performance in radical procedures for malignant tumors such as radical hysterectomy for cervical cancer and staging surgery for endometrial cancer. The system fully supports myomectomy, total hysterectomy, ovarian cystectomy, and various gynecologic tumor staging procedures. As the domestic single-port robotic system recommended by the "Chinese Expert Consensus on Robot-Assisted Single-Port Gynecologic Surgery (2025 Edition)," its technical specifications and clinical efficacy have received authoritative recognition from the industry.
In terms of clinical collaboration with top-tier medical institutions, Shurui® Robot has also achieved outstanding results. Leading medical institutions including Peking Union Medical College Hospital, West China Second University Hospital of Sichuan University, and Ruijin Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine have all achieved breakthrough progress in the gynecologic field with the assistance of single-port robots.
Of particular note, since June 2025, the Gynecology Department of Shandong Provincial Hospital launched a single-port robot application project, taking the lead in large-scale application of the domestically produced Shurui® single-port robotic surgical system. Within just half a year, they successfully completed 79 difficult robotic single-port laparoscopic surgeries, including 22 single-port robotic total hysterectomies. Among these surgeries were many firsts in Shandong Province and even East China, laying a solid foundation for the 100-case gynecologic milestone at this conference. The first single-port robotic tubal reanastomosis procedure in East China, performed by Professor Liu Wei's team, established a new treatment model for patients in the field of reproductive health and set a clinical benchmark. Shandong Radio and Television Station also produced a special report on this achievement.
This appearance at the Shandong Gynecologic Minimally Invasive Surgery Annual Conference represents both a concentrated display of Shurui® Robot's regional clinical achievements and an important practice of domestically innovated technology supporting regional medical advancement.
